About Ross Massey

While I was at UGA studying Risk Management, I was called for jury duty.
Sitting through a jury trial got me hooked on the thrill and theatre of trial. When I finished undergrad, I applied to Cumberland School of Law because they had one of the best trial advocacy programs. Afterwards, I did insurance defense for a while, marrying my passion for the courtroom with my risk management background. However, it didn’t take long to figure out that I was on the wrong side of the courtroom. In 2014, I made the switch to work for clients, not companies, and I’ve been fighting for the injured ever since. Some of my accolades include being named one of 2020 Top 100 Civil Plaintiffs by National Trial Lawyers, Alabama Association of Justice Emerging Leaders from 2015 to 2017and receiving the 2012 Excellence in Trial Advocacy Merit Award from the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. After a long week, I like to unwind by going to the local dive with my neighbors and enjoying all things sports.
