Getting to Know Sarah Williams
We are in the spotlight of powerful women lawyers with Sarah Williams of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys. She is fierce about what she does, and when it comes to getting into critical cases that aren’t easy to resolve, she shines the brightest. Sarah is among the top 25 @the_national_trial_lawyers and has been a key member of our #ASTATeam for years.
Sarah’s legal career began as a civil defense attorney, where she handled many cases across Alabama, including premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, wrongful death, and trucking cases. Sara has worked for some of the state’s leading litigation firms. She is now thrilled to use her litigation skills to assist those who have been injured and their families.
Additionally, Sara is a coach for Cumberland School of Law’s nationally ranked mock trial team and an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy.
Awards and Education
She is named a “Rising Star” by the Alabama Super Lawyers Magazine (2011-13)
Peers also selected her as one of Birmingham Magazine’s “Top Attorneys” (2011-13)
As for her education, Sarah completed her B.A. in 2003 and graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2006. Besides, she served on the chief judge trial advocacy board and was the winner of several prestigious honors and distinctions, including the ABA National Mediation Competition Winner.
